Timmy
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 6 Years
Sex: Male
The poor boy is waiting 289 days for anyone to notice him
Timmy is now 6 yrs old this month.
He loves all dogs and would love a female his own size to share his life with.
No cats.
He is afraid of livestock so wont go near them.
His personality is confident and brave. He fears nothing and will walk in a very hectic city through loud traffic with ease. We are taken him on this test.
Timmy loves our teenagers who come to help as it means he gets lots of time in our play area and so many toys to play with.
So he would suit a family home too.
This poor boy is still invisible for his only crime..... he has a long nose

Darla
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 9 Months
Sex: Female
Darla loves all dogs too. She is very playful as her age suggests.
Shes fine with cats but dog savvy cats only as she wants to play with them too.
No issue with livestock only to lick their faces and she is so gentle with them.
She loves children and can be fully trusted. Ideal for a family to adopt.
Darla is super soft and very affectionate.
Now to find her a home.
Both sisters are ready to travel to a UK home offer if an Irish one cant be found. Sadly most of our sighthound or mixes have to leave Ireland to find a home.
So thank you to all our UK supporters who love a longer nose and to our Irish supporters who have one or two from us and cant imagine a life without them.
The world is slowly changing and more and more people are falling in love with them

Dream
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 9 Months
Sex: Female
How beautiful is she
She loves all dogs. Large and small all she wants to do is play.
She has no issue with cats but dog savvy cats only as she wants to play with them too.
No interest in livestock either. She just wants to be everyone friend.
As her age suggests. Shes still very much a puppy.
Dream loves children and can be fully trusted.
She cant wait to see the outside world as she has grown up in rescue.
Can you plan a life journey with her?

Bosco
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 3 Years
Sex: Male
One of my favourite long noses. He is just fantastic, yet nobody wants him....
Bosco an ex Monaghan pound boy is hoping he may get a home offer
Bosco is 3 yrs old. A pointer/sighthound mix. He is a large well built boy. A picture of health with a very shiny coat. He is just beautiful.
He loves all dogs and on meeting new friends his tail goes mental. We tested him with cats and he ignores them. I feel he may chase for fun but not harm so if you have cats, once they are dog confident.
I can do videos for you if your are serious about a home offer.
He is very confident and fears nothing. You could walk him in a busy city with ease.
His personality is very sweet and kind natured. Very clever and quick to learn.
He loves our younger volunteers in their teens as he loves to chase and play ball and would suit a family too.
He can be strong on just a slip lead but with the harness too, he is super to walk.
He is also ready to travel to a UK home offer.

Hedges
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 2 Years
Sex: Male
He loves all dogs large and small and shares with two others. All three cuddle up at night on a duvet. Your baby finger can walk him. If you stop. He stops. No barking, no jumping up just the perfect boy. He is confident with all traffic and will follow you anywhere. His personality is laid back and very sensible. Kind and such a gentleman. He loves children and can be fully trusted. Hedges is the type of dog who would suit any age family. He is just divine Remember most of our adult dogs are ready to travel to a UK home offer too and we can arrange transport.

Shadow
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 4 Years
Sex: Male
He lived on a chain for this part of his life so he much prefers a harness. Even in the photos you can see the difference. On he harness he is super light to walk. He loves all dogs. Large and small. We tested him with cats and a rabbit and he licked them gently and walked away. Ahhhhh we love him. He is wonderful with all our younger volunteers the worst he will do is hug them and give them kisses. He thrives on your affection and loves a fuss. He is a really genuine boy and so grateful to be here. He will make a loyal companion to whoever adopts him. He will always thank you from his heart
